The Soundings Vocal Ensemble is one of Victoria’s most popular choral groups.
Directed by its founder Denis Donnelly, the two dozen singers (and occasional instrumentalists) will be returning to St. Mary’s Church, one of the Choir’s favourite venues, to perform a concert on Sunday Dec. 9, 2018. The performance will begin at 2:30 pm, and will be approximately one and one-half, to two hours in duration.
Soundings celebrates the season with its December concerts offering music both ancient and contemporary.
They will sing music from the 16th century Spain and folk carols from France and England, which will be balanced with updated arrangements of familiar Christmas songs, including songs from the fine contemporary group Pentatonix. A wonderful musical tradition to begin your own Festive Season!
Refreshments provided in the Hall. Free parking. Handicap friendly (no stairs either!).
