ST. FRANCIS PET MEMORIAL PATHWAY AND GARDEN Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Central Saanich. The St. Francis Pet Memorial Pathway and Garden is located on the beautiful grounds of St. Stephen Anglican Church, 7921 St. Stephen’s Rd, Central Saanich B.C. This is a popular destination for people to exercise their dogs. They can stroll the grounds while enjoying the tranquility and Gods nature that surrounds us. People can run their furry friends in an open field which is away from most distractions. Except for the occasional squirrel or rabbit! This has also been the location of our Annual Blessing of The Animals. A few years ago, during the Annual Blessing Of The Animals, it was suggested that we have a place where our pets could be remembered, in a tangible way, after they cross ‘The Rainbow Bridge’. The St. Francis Pet Memorial Pathway and Garden was the answer. After prayers and much fund raising, our community now has such a place. The Pet Memorial Pathway is made of bricks which can be engraved with your pet’s name along with a few words of your choosing. Below is a link for a Request Form for one or more Memorial bricks. You may choose, with some limitations, where your Memorial Brick will be placed. Then come, sit, remember and enjoy.
